ISM-CU Scholarship Program

 Scholarship Submittal Guidelines and Requirements

ISM-CU’s Board has allocated two $1,000 scholaships to the children or grandchildren of current ISM-CU members. The program is for students enrolling in ANY post-secondary accredited school having at least a one (1) year certification program.

Applications must be submitted by February 1st of each year to Sandra Greely (address below) . Applications must be typed or printed. The student receiving the award must register and attend, as a full-time student, an accredited university, college or vocational/technical/trade school of their choice for the fall semester. 

ISM-CU will select students via random drawing, at either their board or annual meeting each year along with a 1^st alternate and 2^nd alternate.  The check will be made payable to the school that the student indicates on his/her application. If the recipient does not attend school for some reason, the student is asked to contact Sandra Greely at greely@scp.utilities.com so another student can be selected.  This must be done by August 1st. Please note that actual recipients may only receive one scholarship and need not reapply.

OBLIGATIONS:

1)                    ISM-CU will publish the name of the student and parent

2)                    ISM-CU will publish the name of the school the student will be attending in their quarterly newsletter.

3)                     Except for the requirements and criteria stated above, no obligation will be imposed upon the student as a scholarship winner.

4)                      Other than the payment of the scholarship, no obligation or liability is assumed by ISM-CU.

5)                      The program may be discontinued at the discretion of the ISM-CU Board of Directors.
